Predominantly working in the retail and office sector for some of the largest financial organisations in the world, I lead a multi-disciplinary project workstream with the help of my Project co-ordinators and Project Managers. We have successfully been able to structure ourselves in a way that is not affected by the changing levels of demand regardless of the construction discipline, be it Fabric, M&E or specialist. I lead a team involved in design, preparation, project management and post project after service. Additionally, with my background of 5yr HNDip in Building Services Engineering & Construction, I am able to produce and evaluate designs as well as develop comprehensive solutions for our clients; this responsibility often extends to helping the wider business. Circa £30m annually, 300+ projects annually. Resource- Project/Programme Managers- Pre-construction/design Managers- Supervisors- Project coordinators - H&S/CDM Manager & 3rd party design partners- Periodic selection & benchmarking of 65+ contractors, assessed on ability, resource, best value and performance- 300+ projects annually (dependent on size).(Fabric, M&E/HVAC, Specialist)- Delegated responsibility to sign off the submission of Tenders- Creation, tracking & adherence to policy & procedures. Governance & risk management.Responsibilities in summary - Leadership, strategy & programme management of large capital workstreams- Estimation, Risk management & Cost control- WIP & cashflow- Resource strategy, selection & conflict resolution- Design.(Specs, schedules, & tech packs)- Design validation & review- Project management. Managing sub-contractors & Specialists- Customer liaison- Governance, Data sets & Reporting- Labour management & Programming- Procurement & negotiation. Contract agreements- H&S & management.(CDM)- Planning & Landlord consents- Surveying & advising. Technical due diligence to aid in property acquisitions.
