During my career I have obtained an excellence experience of all construction and commercial aspects of the industry for the benefit of new and existing clients and employees within the business.Having held Associate Director and Operations and Commercial Manager roles at two of the most recognised and established SME\'s within the industry I have gained invaluable experience over all sectors of the market.The key responsibilities I have previous delivered are-•Reviewing and agreeing contractual terms for projects with a full understanding of all JCT and NEC forms of contract.•Providing contractual advice for the company to reduce risk and exposure.•Resolving contractual disputes by means of negotiations and on limited occasions through Adjudication and Litigation proceedings.•Preparing and updating Sub-Contract terms and conditions for the business.•Liaising with performance bond Sureties.•Managing and reporting on all commercial aspects of the projects and reporting to the board members.•Maximising value on all projects and negotiating sub-contract packages to improve profitability.•Managing and preparing the Final Account process to enable timely resolution of the project finances including retention.•Preparing Estimates and leading negotiations on two stage tender projects.•Producing and managing cash flow forecasts for all projects to ensure that monthly valuations are completed on time.•Mentoring a team of Quantity Surveyors and Trainee Quantity Surveyors.•Overseeing projects and production team to deliver on time and to the satisfaction of the client and their professional team.•Co-ordination of the external design consultants to maximise value engineering potentials and to ensure that timely and accurate information is provided to site and the supply chain.•Developing supply chain relationships for sub-contract packages.•Producing work in progress financial information including working with external auditors for year-end.
