ABOUT THOMAS SAGRIS

Thomas is a Chartered Environmental and Water Engineer with over 20 years experience covering a wide range of water, wastewater and environmental projects. He has extensive experience in planning and managing complex multi-disciplinary projects and preparing business case analysis and feasibility studies in the water sector. His skills have been utilised on numerous strategic capital investment and environmental planning projects both within Arup and for clients. Thomas has a strong track record working with water utilities and regulators and has carried out research on resilience, water scarcity, urban water management, benefit valuation, ecosystem services and the strategic direction of water companies in the UK.He is currently managing Arup’s investments in digital water services globally comprising projects in the areas of urban stormwater analytics, wastewater network twining and catchment investment planning.I am the co-author of the following 2030 Water Resources Group publications:1) “Managing Water in Scarce Environments : A Catalogue of Case Studies” (September 2013)2)\"An analysis of industrial water use in Bangladesh with a focus on the textile and leather industries\"(May 2015)3) Vietnam: Hydro-economic framework for assessing water sector challenges\"(August 2017)Other publications/articles include:1) Arup, 2022.
