As a Graduate Assistant at Chatham University, I work alongside the Building and Systems Council to manage and improve the campus buildings and systems, and to support applicants in securing funds for their projects. I am pursuing a Master of Sustainability degree with a focus on urban and social sustainability. I am passionate about making the world a better place by understanding and addressing the complex interactions between the natural and human environments. I have experience in scientific research, conservation work, and advocacy for underrepresented and underprivileged people, especially the LGBTQ+ community. I have also contributed to publications on physics, environmental education, and global issues. I aim to apply my skills and knowledge to create positive and lasting impacts on society.
