ABOUT THOMAS RABAUT
Incoming J.D. candidate at Loyola University Chicago School of Law with a background in chemical engineering and a growing focus in intellectual property law. I earned my B.S. in chemical engineering from Michigan State University, where I developed a strong foundation in technical problem-solving. I have several years of experience across the technology transfer, in-house, and law firm sectors of IP law. In these roles, I contributed to patent strategy development, conducted prior art and patentability searches, drafted patent applications, assisted with prosecution efforts, communicated with the USPTO, and evaluated early-stage technologies for commercial and legal potential. I look forward to building on this foundation through my legal studies and contributing to the Chicago community. I’m eager to connect with professionals in the legal, engineering, and IP field, so please feel free to reach out!
