About Thomas Olsen

I am a husband, father, and software engineer. Life is about so much more than what you do for work, but at the same time, work is an integral part of life. I am blessed to be married to an amazing woman, who is the most incredible person I know. We have three sons, and being both husband and father are the most important jobs in my life. I love teaching my kids and spending as much time as I can with them is important to me. We like to stay active, so getting outside with our dogs, going to the zoo or aquarium, kayaking, biking, and camping are all frequent events.As a software engineer, I have a passion for learning and teaching. I like to seek out opportunities to improve workflow and build a better product for my end users. Whether that’s prioritizing feature requests or working with stakeholders to mock out a new product to resolve a pain point, the problem solving aspect is what I thrive on. I like to learn new languages and frameworks. Understanding different paths to a solution can help when deciding on the best path forward for a given situation.
