About Thomas Nadarajah-Mechem
I\'m a Senior at Baruch College majoring in Corporate Communication with a minor in Graphic Design. I\'m also currently a Marketing Specialist for ERB.I\'m pursuing a career in marketing and hope to continue developing research, analysis, consumer insight, creative, consulting, and management skills. I\'ve worked in marketing roles for four different companies, where I\'ve gained skills and experience in social media, search engine optimization, data tracking/analysis, content marketing, and consulting. Last year, as the Marketing Director for Consult Your Community at Baruch College, I led a team of six amazing committee members in executing all of our organization’s marketing-related needs, including collateral development, event promotion, client/talent acquisition, and all facets of digital marketing. Prior to pivoting towards a career in marketing, I spent six years working in merchandising and sales for big box retail companies. For three and a half of these years, I formally led teams of five to ten people on a day-to-day basis and frequently served as the lead manager-on-duty.
