Extensive experience in amphibious and maritime prepositioning force operations, intelligence analysis and planning, as well as ship simulation and tidal modeling. Has provided singly and as a member of Intelligence Community wide team strategic and operational analysis of Tier 1 countries capabilities and how naval task forces can operate successfully in the anti-access/area denial (A2/AD) environment. Planned and participated in amphibious operations from the Battalion Landing Team/Amphibious Ready Group level through to a Marine Expeditionary Brigade/Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward)/Expeditionary Strike Group/Amphibious Task Force. Conducted planning at the Marine Division and Navy Amphibious Group level. Planned and executed several maritime prepositioning force exercises, including the first in-stream offload utilizing the Improved Navy Lighterage System from Maritime Prepositioning Ships. Significant experience as a trainer, both accession level as well as mid-level to senior level instruction, particularly in communications security management and amphibious and maritime prepositioning force operations. Has significant experience as a liaison officer, coordinating between services and agencies, as well as across international, e.g, NATO and UN organizations. Recognized in the operational and intelligence communities as the Amphibious Warfare Subject Matter Expert (SME) actively participates in the Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC) amphibious revitalization team, in particular, the Ellis Group. Organizational and leadership skills used to facilitate wargames, service and joint level concept development, as well as direct intelligence support to USCENTCOM and USPACOM.
