ABOUT THOMAS MCBRIDE
I’m a recent graduate from Leeds Beckett University with a First-Class degree in Business Management with Law, and I’m proud to have received the Dean’s Award as the highest-achieving student in my cohort.Work has played a significant role in my life from an early age—from paper rounds as a child to administrative roles within the NHS. Balancing work alongside my studies has always been important to me and has shaped my work ethic and resilience. At 17, I began working as a weekend sales assistant at Cooplands Bakery. Through hard work and a willingness to take on new challenges, I progressed to Team Leader, eventually overseeing multiple stores across Leeds. Being the youngest member of staff on site didn’t hold me back—it motivated me. During this time, I developed strong leadership skills, learned how to manage teams effectively, and ensured smooth day-to-day operations.I’m now eager to bring my academic background and hands-on leadership experience into a role where I can contribute, grow, and continue challenging myself.
