In my previous role, as a Consultant in the Analytics Center of Excellence at IQVIA, I used legacy healthcare data and secondary research to support recruitment into clinical trials. I designed and deployed the Excel-based UK site identification methodology and co-ordinated the development of an automated version in Cloudera Data Science Workbench. My site ID analyses contributed to 330m USD in new business awarded to IQVIA. I performed data analysis in Excel and worked with SQL and Python as well. I also supported analysts and developers in IQVIA\'s other global offices on internal development projects, working within an Agile Scrum framework. Previously, I was a pharmaceutical industry analyst and consultant for Visiongain, and then Senior Analyst in Disease Insights at IMS Health, in roles based on market forecasting, report writing and consultancy work around the pharmaceutical and medical devices market.Outside of market research and analytics, I have helped a consultancy in the blockchain/distributed ledger technology space with copyediting and proofreading for a business report and am gradually increasing my earnings from creative writing work.
