Leader of BCBSM\'s Value Partnerships program, an award-winning portfolio of healthcare transformation and value-based reimbursement programs designed to improve healthcare value. Through these initiatives, Blue Cross partners with the Michigan provider community to transform care delivery and incentivize providers. Value Partnerships programs are routinely profiled in peer reviewed literature and international presentations, having been presented in 50+ countries. Led development of Physician Group Incentive Program, Collaborative Quality Initiative portfolio, Patient Centered Medical Home and Advanced Primary Care designation programs. Additionally, oversaw initiatives to support electronic mobilization of health information including the development of a supplemental data exchange and advancement of health information exchange. Developed programs to address a variety of organizational needs including an accreditation team/program that secured Blue Cross its first-ever NCQA accreditation for its PPO product. Also oversaw development of a program for the oversight of the PPO professional provider fee schedule.I have presented at numerous forums including: Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, American Hospital Association, American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Urological Association, Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Crain\'s Detroit Business, Healthcare Financial Management Association, Integrated Healthcare Association (California), International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement, Medtronic, National Coalition on Healthcare, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, University of Michigan Ross School of Business, among others. Published in the American Journal of Managed Care, the Harvard Business Review, and New England Journal of Medicine Catalyst Innovations in Care Delivery, among others. National recipient of the Primary Care Community Leadership award from the Primary Care Collaborative.
