Other real estate work encompasses restrictive covenants, adverse possession, easements, neighbour disputes and nuisance actions. My practice also includes misrepresentation and professional negligence matters.As well as broad technical knowledge I have extensive practical experience in fighting and settling difficult disputes. My focus is upon providing proactive strategic advice in respect of litigation processes, including ADR. Recent cases include- High Court property dispute which made law- Acting for the successful Claimant in a County Court action for a declaration in respect of a right of way and determination of the boundary location Acting on behalf of Claimants in a County Court claim by which they obtained adverse possession of unregistered woodland, which was then successfully registered at HMLR, plus a possession order to evict a squatter by way of summary determination Successful application to HMLR for adverse possession of an unregistered garage- Settling a co-ownership dispute at mediation by which our client received Settling a ransom strip dispute by way of corrective transfer. I regularly advise on property matters. Recently these include a commercial lease break clause, 1954 Act lease, restrictive covenants & easements. I have a First Class law degree (LLB), a Masters degree (MA, Distinction) plus a Post-Graduate Certificate in Commercial Law (Distinction). At University I achieved the highest marks in Years 1 & 2, won the Land Law prize in Year 2 and graduated with the second highest LLB marks having also won mooting and debating prizes. I have Civil Higher Rights of Audience and am a (Student) member of Middle Temple.
