About Thomas J Stultz
Tom Stultz is currently serving as CEO for K-LOVE (Christian Radio) and as an advisor to the CEO of JMI Sports. Prior to his retirement on July 31, 2020 Tom was president of JMI Sports. Stultz worked with universities, athletic conferences, professional teams, private entities and municipalities in developing media strategies and business plans to significantly increase client revenues and fund major capital projects. JMI Sports has Multimedia and Corporate Sponsorship partnerships with Cthe University of Kentucky, the University of Georgia (with IMG College), the University of Notre Dame (with Legends), the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Pennsylvania, San Diego State University, Harvard University, Ivy League, Mid-American Conference, West Coast Conference, Southern Conference, Atlantic 10 Conference, and Columbia University (with IMG College). JMIS also has Total Campus Marketing relationships with Kentucky.Stultz has negotiated and secured more than $1.1 billion in multi-media and sponsorship rights agreements with major universities. In addition, Stultz has worked with management, investment bankers, ratings agencies, and investors to raise more than $500 million in bank financing and equity, while also participating in numerous mergers and acquisitions. In 1979, he and his wife Pat, founded the first reunion ever of Negro League Baseball Players in honor of the 80th birthday of Greenup native Clint Thomas. Stultz was SVP and managing director of IMG College. Stultz led IMG’s efforts to negotiate and launch the Longhorn Network, an innovative $300 million partnership between the University of Texas, IMG College and ESPN, creating the first-of-its-kind network. As president and CEO of Host Communications, Stultz was instrumental in strengthening the company’s financial position.From 1996 to 2007, Stultz managed a chain of six daily newspapers in Georgia, while serving as chief executive officer of Triple Crown Media, Inc. and previously as president of Gray Publishing LLC. From 1988 to 1996, Stultz was vice president of Multimedia Newspaper Company in Greenville, S.C.Stultz earned his MBA from Georgia State University. A native of Greenup, Kentucky, he and his wife, Pat, have two daughters and six grandchildren.
