Site Engineer & Temporary Works Supervisor @Mcrail Rmc Constructions
Part of the McRail / RMC site team on a freelance contracting basis as a site engineer on the external civil engineering, drainage and landscaping works package of the construction of the new Regional Distribution Centre for Lidl in Gildersome near Leeds. The principal contractor for this project were TSL and the total project value is £150 million. My duties for the project included but were not limited to setting out and setting levels for drainage and utility installations, setting out of reinforced concrete structures such as foundations, retaining walls, floor slabs, hard standing areas and buildings, setting out lines and levels for the installation of road, car park and path edge kerbs, setting up levels for hard and soft landscaping, as built surveys of completed works, QA / QC documentation including as built drawings and quality control checklists, checking issued drawings and construction information and issuing technical queries when necessary, assisting the site team with the completion of daily records of work and site diaries. I was also appointed as the Temporary Works Supervisor for McRail / RMC on the project due to my Temporary Works Supervisor certification and past experience, this involved inspections of all Temporary Works implemented by McRail / RMC on the project ensuring compliance with Temporary Works standards, designs and procedures.

I supported execution of £4B project with Carey taking in £57M by performing various functions inclusive of setting out and lining in all reinforced concrete structures, pre-concrete pour checks, as built surveys of completed works, updating QA/QC documents, issuing technical queries for designers as well as assisting with material procurement activities.
