After a number of years being inactive in hospitality I feel the call is still there. It is time to work on my tools for menu engineering and sales tracking. Excel is a good tool for these, but not necessarily the best. If you are not having fun at what you do, why are you doing it? A question I have been asking myself lately. Just need to be sure I am on the right path. Too many years in the hospitality field (time flies when enjoying what you do), primarily in the accounting area, and I am still learning. My background in hospitality includes stints in hotels, restaurants, night clubs, and country clubs. In addition I have a number of years in the corporate offices of hotels and restaurants.My strengths have been in working with operations for more profitable behaviors and decision making. If the answer to \"WHY do you do that?\" because that is the way I/WE have always done it; this it is time to re-engineer. Specialties: Very strong skills in accounting technologies. I have installed systems for hotels, restaurants, and tested version upgrades prior to implementation at Matheson Tri-Gas Inc.Developed Filemaker Pro databases for use at various positions from 1997 to Present. Used Filemaker Pro from versions 3 through 19. At M&A Technologies I have developed FileMaker tools to augment the \'deficiencies\' of our accounting software (MS Dynamics Great Plains 2015).
