ABOUT THOMAS HEESOM
I\'m an Associate Project Manager working in the Built Environment team of Mott MacDonald\'s Cambridge office. Recently I\'ve led the technical & engineering delivery for two £250m+ defence infrastructure programmes, one in a technical advisory role and one where Mott MacDonald were designers for the D&B Contractor, leading a design team of over 100 people. As Technical Manager on the F-35 Beddown Infrastructure Programme at RAF Lakenheath, I\'ve enjoyed working collaboratively with the Contractor and an extensive network of client-side stakeholders to deliver projects for DIO and the US Air Force.I\'m a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Full Member of the Association for Project Management. I also have experience working as a structural designer on a variety of projects from small refurbishments and retrofit projects, through to large new-build programmes of work. I graduated from studying Structural Engineering at Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge in June 2017. I have a strong academic record from university including winning the department prizes for Structural Engineering and College Scholarships.
