Hi! I am Thomas Hansen from Mainz - Welcome to my profile & thanks for your interest!Started as 3D-artist (3ds max) back in 2001 I specialised in nodebased Compositing 2003. After two years of evolving I had my first big shots 2005 in R.Polanski’s “Oliver Twist” - marking 2025 my 20-year-anniversary in the VFX-industry. I am a senior Nuke Compositor with 100+ movie-credits such as „ALITA: Battle Angel“, „AVENGERS: Infinity War“, „PREDATOR: Badlands“, „War for the PLANET of the APES“, „The MANDALORIAN“ (S1), „GAME of THRONES“ (S4+8) and was part of the 1.500 Artists that won an ACADEMY AWARD (VFX, uncredited) for „The JUNGLE BOOK“ at MPC London. By working with #GHOST #MPC #WETA #PIXOMONDO #TRIXTER #RISE #CINESITE,#ArriMEDIA #PHAROS and #DasWERK, in Cities such as Copenhagen, London, Wellington, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich, Hamburg, Berlin I earned a very solid, highly creative, precise and fast output and a good eye for realistic CG-comps. I am strong with Deep- and Stereo-Compositing, complex Cleanups (Wire-removals, Setextensions, Beauty-retouching, AI-based de-aging & Face-swapping), Particle-systems (snow/rain/clouds/fire/fx) and love any kind of depth and detail.) I keep my smile even in crunch-times and have a fine sense for clear #Communication,#Motivation and #Teamwork. I have been lecturing „Digital Compositing (Nuke)“ at the University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Mainz | „Zeitbasierte Medien“) & and feel very confident in VFX- and Team-Supervision.
