The Senior Technology Engineer position provides advanced level design, installation, administration and maintenance of Premier Health’s IT infrastructure, including the Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN), Servers, Storage, Transport circuits and datacenter infrastructure. This senior level position will have a technical focus in specific areas such as Systems and Storage, Network or Network Security, VoIP and Unified Communications. Leads and/or participates in advanced technology projects. Maximizes infrastructure reliability, availability and performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, updates and collaborating with infrastructure architects, vendors and consultants. Works with architects to set and manage infrastructure standards. Leads by example in standards compliance and change management. Handles technical problems with little to no supervision. Integrates advanced technical skills with knowledge of the business to provide effective network solutions. Provides guidance and mentoring to colleagues and promotes teamwork.
