Twenty-eight years’ experience in commercial nuclear power. Eighteen years’ experience at operating nuclear sites: two two-unit Westinghouse 4-loop PWRs and two single unit General Electric Type-4 BWR. On-site experience includes in-core flux mapping, reactivity management, dropped control rod recovery, design engineering package development and verification, post–modification testing development and execution, maintenance, operations, online and outage work management, Maintenance Rule Program development, procedure writing, corrective action program, and 10CFR50.59 evaluation. Nine years’ experience at vendors covering Generation II and BWR and PWRs, Small Modular Reactors, and High Temperature Gas Reactors. New build activities include engineering process development, design integration, licensing, requirements management, I&C and electrical system architecture, and control room design. These include the General Electric ESBWR, the Areva US EPR, B&W mPower, Xe-100 multi-unit pebble bed reactor, and Bellefonte NP control room redesign. Experience in design engineering, project management, licensing, procedure writing, engineering design program development, process development, and human factors engineering. Specialties: reactor operations, DCD, COLA, and NRC Technical and Topical Report development, systems engineering (INCOSE), work management, project management, engineering management (including human factors engineering), conceptual design development, process development, design-basis recovery and development. Experience utilizing enterprise software such as Primavera P6, Maximo, Passport, and NAMS.
