ABOUT THOMAS GOODYER
A global leader in the field of Asset Management, Tom leads Strategic Asset Management for WSP UK, WSP\'s Global Asset Management group, and chairs the ISO committee that owns the Asset Management standards (such as ISO 55001). Tom advises on asset management, capital projects and on business transformation for asset intensive organisations. They are being asked to invest in their assets like never before, while the world around us changes quickly and throws up new risks, testing the resilience of our systems. Tom uses his experience of such investments to guide clients across all sectors and parts of the world. Most commonly Tom works in leadership roles for asset management improvement programmes. Tom’s industry experience is in the project management, commercial and engineering disciplines, largely in the highways, rail, aviation, urban transit and power sectors in the UK and the US. He has worked on successful projects and programmes at strategic, feasibility, concept, development, construction, operations and maintenance phases. Tom has also worked closely with c-suite on bids, projects, research, benchmarking, policy and governance.Outside of Tom\'s consulting career in the UK and US, Tom has had long term roles in HM Treasury and Independent Power Producers. He has also had a variety of industry leadership and committee roles, not least his role as Chair of ISO TC/251. Participant in the ENO Center 2019 Transit Senior Executive Program.
