Senior Project Manager for the implementation of the Street Works UK (SWUK) Material Classification Protocol at Thames Water. This is a business-critical regulatory programme that affects all excavation work across the clean and waste networks. It ensures full compliance with new Environment Agency legislation on hazardous waste classification, with a fixed go-live date of September 2025.I lead the strategy, planning, and delivery of this transformation programme, aligning operational, regulatory, and digital functions to deliver a compliant minimum viable product at pace. I work across Streetworks, Scheduling, Dispatch, Field Operations, and Digital, managing internal teams and external contractors. I serve as the central point of accountability for governance, readiness, and execution.Key responsibilities include: • Leading cross-functional planning and risk mitigation • Embedding the SWUK protocol into operational workflows and digital platforms • Overseeing training, comms, audit, and assurance workstreams • Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure safe, legal, and auditable material handlingThis programme sits at the intersection of regulation, operations, and transformation.
