ABOUT THOMAS GIBSON

I am a Technical support analyst with 1st line experience an long with windows server management and administration experience with a comprehensive background as a Microsoft Dynamics AX developerIT professional with years 5 years experience within the IT industry covering a wide variety of roles within the time scale, such as systems administration, day to day office system support, 1st line helpdesk support, as well as implementation & configuration of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 & 2012, & SQL server & database management. Within the 3 1/2 years I worked for Jakobsen Consulting, I have worked with numerous clients, for 8 months i worked with Stemcor as part of their global help desk working as a 1st line analyst providing support to users in various different countries. I have worked with CNetwork, in the implementation of a Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 development environment on remote virtual machines. I have also done Microsoft Dynamics implementation for Baldwin on in-house Jakobsen consulting servers. I have gained experience with Systems administration & domain management with Microsoft Windows server 2008 and 2012, by maintaining Application & terminal servers for in house development, I also provide support within Jakobsen consulting, providing additional knowledge & experience in regards to troubleshooting and resolving everyday office system faults. My background & education consists of IT & Computing, this has provided a platform for me to build, hone, & develop my knowledge base of the wider computing spectrum, In addition to my HND & BSc I have taken addition courses such as CISCO certifications for networking and I have also trained in Cyberoam Unified threat management, as well as working towards a greater understanding of Linux and UNIX based systems.
