ABOUT THOMAS GEORGE LUND
I\'m a Mechanical Engineer building Deployable Space Structures. Solving problems is why I became an engineer, and the unique opportunities and challenges of space engineering have made it my dream to become an astronaut. I\'m half English, half Greek, born in the US and raised in Czech Republic. I worked in South Africa, studied in Scotland, and now living in Germany. You can\'t see borders from space! Outside of engineering I spend my time bouldering/sport climbing or cycling, and I take every chance I can to get out of the city to explore and enjoy nature.
