About Thomas Fennewald
Learning Expert & Indie Game Developer. By day: Science teacher, observing student conceptual development while envisioning what education can become in the age of interactivity & AI. By night: Developing thought-provoking and educational multiplayer games in Unity. As a colleague, I\'m a creative problem solver, systems thinker, and team member/leader. I have an eclectic background that includes being a co-founder of a SaaS startup (website design, app design, sales, strategy), a professor of Educational Psychology, a Ph.D. in research methodology, a project evaluator, a learning consultant, and a research scientist in both education and chemistry. My research has focused on how simulations, games, and project-based activities can support learning and promote moral inquiry. I\'ve taught laboratory science, theories of learning, and partner dance. I\'m conversant in C#, Python, and Machine Learning and tourist-ready in Chinese, French, and Spanish.
