ABOUT THOMAS EVANS
18+ years in Consulting and Financial Services I am passionate about the role data has to play in adding value to financial services. I have led large data engagements at clients such as Citi, DB & Barclays. In my current role I work with financial institutions to implement data strategies which ensure compliance with a wide range of new data-led regulations whilst ensuring data is embedded in the business culture and used to drive business outcomes. I am co lead of Capco’s UK Data Practice which focuses on collaborating with our clients on everything from Data governance, architecture and innovative engineering solutions including cloud data platforms, data science (ML/GenAI), machine learning and graph based data models. I hold an MSc in Project and Enterprise Management, qualified Prince 2 practitioner, Agile and Lean qualified which has given me a management and economics foundation to my practical experience. I am also a specialist in DCAM and member of GARP I hold the Financial Risk & Regulation qualification which has helped me to deliver Basel and BCBS 239 at Tier one Banks.
