Leading a team of transport planners, working on a variety of transport schemes with a particular emphasis on programmes, budget and technical requirements. Led projects focused on transport planning, modelling, junction designs, transport assessments and cycling studies as well as large scale transport schemes such as new tunnels and testing of new emerging technologies (e.g autonomous vehicles and ITS).Projects included DfT Brexit Planning, TfL Cycle Future Routes, Heathrow and JFK Airport Access Strategies, WPA Railway Crossing Removals. Various transport assessments for large developments across London and the south east, including Burlington Road Transport Assessment, Castle Point Transport Assessment, Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022 Highways Schemes Assessment and Grand Union Transport Assessment.Responsibilities included leading bids and initiating structured and sustained business development activities and monitoring performance of projects. Managing and mentoring staff. Involved in performance management and managing organisational change.
