Been involved in the corrosion industry since 1974 specializing in cathodic protection, below grade and above grade coatings/paint. Have 38 years of direct supervision for a consulting company and 2 pipeline companies which include technician support, process and standards development as well as specification writing, yearly budget estimating, data analysis and recommendations, integrity group, operator qualification, the initiation of computer based corrosion programs, established remote monitoring program for cathodic protection rectifiers and PHIMSA record keeping/audits. I have a strong back round in cathodic protection which includes pipelines, truck terminals, asphalt terminals, refineries, gas gathering systems, electrical power facilities, nuclear power plants and numerous military facilities. I also have been involved with atmospheric/underground corrosion control (protective coatings) since 1990. My most recent adventures have been in the inspection industry doing new pipeline installations and existing pipelines/terminals cathodic protection and coating/painting inspections throughout the United States. Have a place in Hot Springs Village, AR, not there very often but it is a private community with 11 lakes, 2 marinas, and 9 golf courses, the largest gated community in the US.
