About Thomas Ellis
I have experience working across the value stream, with all organizational levels, in several different industries. My career has progressed through many functional disciplines, including: manufacturing engineering, new product development, packaging engineering, operations management, quality management, supply management, and distribution. I’ve been fortunate to learn Toyota Production System (TPS) principles from several Toyota mentors and have applied that approach in a “hands on” manner to deliver business and learning results through customer focused problem solving and people development.I’ve always enjoyed solving problems, teaching others, and seeking improvement, which has made me a successful Lean leader. As a result, it’s important to me that I seek out opportunities to build an improvement engine of people development.
