General: • Define and drive global strategies in the areas of Sales Logistics, Inside Sales/ Customer Service and Customs & Foreign Trade. • Develop optimized company-wide processes and ensure a continuous risk assessment. • Contribute to both the global forecast and budget process and the global Sales & Operation planning process. • Collaborate with other departments in order to ensure that the company meets its set growth goals. • Facilitate and direct the use of resources. • Develop, implement and maintain Sales Logistics-related reports and KPIs. • And the most important topic: Motivate, train, coach, and develop all members of the teams I supervise. Sales Inside/ Customer Service: • Supervise order entry and sales planning activities. • Organize calculation of sales prices and negotiation with customers. • Lead and drive the team to achieve global revenue goals. • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers. Customs & Foreign Trade: • Manage the Trade Compliance Management System and the customs and foreign trade strategy. • Ensure compliance with internal and external customs regulations. • Advise customers and internal stakeholders on all customs-related topics. Logistics: • Monitor all activities for outgoing deliveries (quality, quantity, lead times and transport). • Negotiate rates and contracts with forwarding companies. • Create and implement company-wide logistics principles, policies and processes to maintain and improve the operational and financial performance. • Ensure the compliance of logistics processes to laws and guidelines. • Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners such as forwarding companies and customers.
