ABOUT THOMAS COX

Surviving a Malpractice Suit,\" aimed primarily at health care professionals but also contains enough general information that it should appeal to anyone dealing with high levels of stress, is available on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle versions. Bluewater Solutions has recently added an entire suite of Medicare services to the agency, including Medicare enrollment assistance, Medicare Supplement Plans, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Part D Drug Plans, supplemental plans such as vision, dental, hearing, hospital indemnity, final expense insurance, and home health plans. These new lines add to the eclectic background that includes teaching, coaching, health education, risk management, claims management, field underwriting and loss control, all of this before I became an independent insurance agent. I have been published dozens of times, write a monthly insurance newsletter (if you\'d like to receive a copy you can email at t••••@bluewatersolutions.net), and recently became a freelance author for hire. In addition I developed a Litigation Stress Management program in 1992 for medical professionals dealing with the stress of litigation, and have helped a number of medical professionals navigate the emotions of a malpractice claim, while lecturing and writing on this topic frequently. I also work with all other lines of professional liability, to include attorneys, consultants, engineers, accountants, and the like. Specialties: Risk management; litigation stress management; professional liability insurance; health care; assisted living, long-term care, and home health; public speaking; author of several articles on risk and insurance management; adult homes and adult day care, staffing services.
