ABOUT THOMAS CONNEELY
Thomas Conneely is a Director of Asset Manager at Castleforge Partners, where he is responsible for leading the UK and EU commercial portfolio, to grow income and boost capital values. Thomas works across the investment process, working closely with the Castleforge acquisition and development teams, in-house operational businesses and external advisors. Thomas leverages his varied commercial experience to help minimize binary risk and boost returns, creating repositioned assets which deliver high IRR\'s and returns on capital. Prior to Castleforge Thomas spent two years at Transport for London, working through an exciting phase of transformation for the Commercial Development team, helping TfL move assets into a dedicated property fund; create a modern, high quality real estate portfolio which drives investment returns for the wider benefit of London and the transport network. Previously, Thomas worked for Knight Frank, where he provided valuation advisory services to a range of institutional investment clients. As well as co-ordinating monthly valuations for some of the UK’s top real estate funds, Thomas provided advisory services by analysing asset management strategies, developments and potential acquisitions. Thomas is from Newcastle, where he studied Real Estate at Northumbria University. Graduating in 2011 as Top Student with a First Class Honours Degree. Thomas went on to qualify as a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer working in Newcastle, winning three national industry awards before relocating to London in 2013.
