Plan, direct and manage the Human Resources function for the Gastonia Plant.Supervise, lead, and develop the Human Resources department staff.Lead in building a positive and constructive working relationship between Management and Union. Negotiate, implement and ensure proper administration of the collective bargaining agreement, including the grievance procedure, attendance policies, and disciplinary matters. Provide leadership in contract negotiations process.Interpret HR Policies and employment laws to ensure compliance with all corporate and location policies and procedures, as well as Local, State, and Federal Laws. Draft, recommend, and implement local specific policies and processes.Manage recruitment and staffing process to identify qualified candidates to fill shop roles. Work in partnership with talent acquisition department and recruiter for support in filling office and management roles.Provide proactive employee relations support including coaching, counseling, training, policy interpretation, investigations, and dispute resolution.Oversee implementation Company performance management and employee feedback systems and program requirements for the plant.Lead efforts to comply with all regulations including OFCCP, EEO/AAP, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, NLRA, the immigration Act of 1990, etc.Provide guidance and support regarding the administration of various benefit issues including health care, disability, workers\' compensation, etc.As a senior leader in the plant, drive a safe work environment by partnering with corporate safety representatives, location safety personnel, plant management, the union, and the employees.Provide oversight to the location medical office and security personnel.
