I graduated from college with a B.A. in Psychology. Along the way, I was fortunate enough to be a Residential Assistant, Research Assistant, Treasurer, and, briefly, a front-of-house taquero! Shortly after I graduated, I decided to change career paths to data science. Since then, I have been diligently working towards developing advanced data science skills, successfully teaching myself SQL, Python, Power BI, Excel, and fundamental statistics.My desire to enter the data science field came from a realization that data had been at the forefront of all of my professional experiences and a belief that my diverse background and high adaptability could serve as valuable assets when working with complex datasets.I aim to integrate data science with my background in psychology and deep passion for learning. Psychology has countless studies looking at optimizing the workforce, improving marketing campaigns, understanding customer behavior, and many more things that can all be used in conjunction with data to support the success of any business or organization. I have also continuously found that many of the \"random\" things I have learned over the years greatly influence how I approach and think about my work, regardless of face-value relatedness. Thus, I always accept any opportunity to learn something new!

   Manage and maintain all data structures and workflows for two public health programs, tracking individual and household-level referrals and team performances. Consolidated data spread across numerous Excels into a centralized SQL database using Python, streamlining our workflow and establishing a foundation to conduct data analysis. Conducted data analysis to evaluate program performance, identify inefficiencies, and measure the impact of current events on our outreach.• Created a new system for data collection that increased team performance by over 200%• Analyzed datasets of over rows, developing a report showcasing how current events impacted our field operations• Collaborated across programs assisting in improving data collection systems, conducting statistical analysis, and consulting for stakeholder reporting
