My orthopedic practice centers around the diagnosis and treatment of complex shoulder and knee issues. I have a long track record of identifying the root cause of failed surgical and non-surgical treatment of the shoulder and knee. My team at Arthrometrix LLC/ERMI Inc. has the ability to precisely characterize knee ligament injuries through the use of both a Standardized, Automated, Reproducible (STAR) Clinical Knee Examination System and a CT-STAR Testing system. These systems have the capability of tracking changes in the knee kinematics to within a third of a degree and a three-quarters of a mm in three dimensions. This allows the surgeon to make a precise and unbiased diagnosis of joint injury leading to an improved treatment plan. In addition, this testing system allows for the unbiased characterization of injury for the purposes discovery in the disability and legal arena. Data from the robot has been presented at major international orthopedic conferences since 2008.
