ABOUT THOMAS BORNEMANN
As a manager with e2e experiences of the entire supply chain (logistics & procurement) I am passionate about operational excellence, project management and digitalization. It is my goal to drive our business forward. Successfully implementing optimization initiatives with x-functional teams is what motivates me and what I strive for. Regarding Operations Excellence I know the advantages and borders of the offered toolbox of different approaches like Lean Management, SCRUM, Agile Project Management, Six Sigma and so on. To keep pace with upcoming technologies I like to learn at least one new thing everyday. In my professional life this helps to decide on the right problem/technology fit but also to distinguish between hype and real value add. But finally I am deeply convinced that people management more than everything is key for a successful change in the area of digitalization.My first hands on experiences outside of Siemens - Bayer (Supply Chain Management), AOL - Multi-/Project Management and - Commerzbarnk (finance) helped me to grow as a person and got me a solid overall understanding of key factors financially and processwise. Enabling the digital transformation process while implementing concrete use cases using AI, Blockchain and Robotics in our day to day business life in logistics is what makes me smile these days.
