About Thomas Bieber

My professional experience has consisted primarily of working within Athletics Departments at the Division I level. Specifically, I currently lead the Athletics Academic Resource Center (AARC) for student-athletes at Monmouth University. Specialties: I assist student-athletes in accomplishing their primary goal of achieving a college-level degree within 4 years. I am well educated on current and new NCAA legislation, particularly with regards to academic eligibility requirements at the D-I level. I also currently manage the following: 1) academic advising of 500+ student-athletes; requiring weekly to bi-weekly meetings with \"at-risk\"​ student-athletes2) athletics study hall3) athletics tutoring4) travel verification form policy (indicating dates that class will be missed due to competition)5) course registration6) serving as the primary academic liaison between faculty and the athletics department7) education of student-athlete needs to academic advisors from every academic department8) serving as the advisor to the Monmouth SAAC9) serving as the administrative sport supervisor for the men\'s and women\'s track and field teams
