My main responsibilities include the following- Attending the High Court and County Court with Counsel- Breaking deadlocks, negotiating out of Court Settlements and attending at Court to approve the same- Advising the Conveyancing Department when matters become Litigious- Instructing Counsel & developing a rapport with Counsel’s Clerks, negotiating fees on behalf of our Clients- Bundling- Issuing Proceedings- Drafting Statements of Costs (Form N260)- Corresponding with Court personnel and keeping track of the progress of our caseload- Legal and Procedural Research- Dealing with new enquiries (telephone and in-person/clinic)- Billing- Drafting Pre-Action Letters and Claimant’s Calderbank/Without Prejudice Offers- Preparing documents to comply with Disclosure requirements- Drafting Applications; Witness Statements and Draft Orders, and - Re-drafted the department’s Client Care Letter and Terms of Business to protect our position against clients who delay/fail to pay.I also regularly shadow the Firm\'s Family and Criminal Departments in Court and during Client Conferences.

I read jurisprudence at Law School from 20••••21, graduating with First-Class Honours (13 Firsts). I then undertook the Bar Exams at Bar School in London, passing with a ‘Very Competent’ classification (graded \'Outstanding\' in Civil Advocacy). I was Called to the Bar of England and Wales by The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in the 2023 Trinity term.
