I lead data science and AI at the executive level, but my credibility comes from having built the machinery myself.As Vice President, Data Sciences at Applied Surety Underwriters, I lead the strategy, architecture, and execution behind analytics and AI systems that support underwriting, operations, and executive decision-making. My work spans the full stack of modern enterprise analytics: statistical modeling, machine learning, software engineering, data architecture, governance, and business translation.My background includes peer-reviewed Bayesian modeling, production-grade machine learning, enterprise software engineering, and the design of auditable data and AI systems for regulated environments. I have built solutions that do more than generate predictions. They create defensible, explainable, and operationally durable decision support that leadership can actually trust.What differentiates me is range. I can work at the level of model design, code optimization, and system architecture, then step up and frame the same work in terms of governance, risk, strategic leverage, and organizational adoption.
