ABOUT THOMAS ALENI WANDSTRAAT
Currently a third-year student, on scholarship at the University of Otago, studying a BA with majors in Film & Media Studies and Performing Arts. I am currently working for the NZ Police but also as a contracted photographer for the ASB Polyfest, having the privilege of working closely with their media and communications teams. I am always trying to develop further the interpersonal communication and leadership skills that I have gained from these experiences. I am passionate about media and communication, specifically how meanings, ideas and ideologies are able to be represented through different mediums of communicative expression. If there\'s one thing university has given me, it is the ability to think and perceive critically, I only hope to further my understanding of the world around me.
