I\'m a serial entrepreneur, experienced executive and visionary leader in one. I like to challenge people to question their thinking, their methods and their habits to be ready to create the future.A positive and agile mindset determines my thinking and doing. I like to drive organisations forward, push teams to reach new limits and develop and grow people as the most important contributors of success. Implementing a “get the things done” culture with clear passion for results, commitments and strong customer obsession is very much in my DNA.I have a proven track record of strategy development combined with corresponding product and go-to-market implementation for exponential growth and market disruption. Successful execution of multiple M&A transactions on the buy and sell side, including carve-out\'s and MBO’s belong to my expertise portfolio as well.Founded my first company in 1991, developed different software businesses, launched one of the first web-based fleet management solutions worldwide in grew it further under new ownership of TomTom since 2005. Over time became the leading European fleet management and telematics service provider and one of the largest TSP’s worldwide, acquired by Bridgestone in 2019. My way of thinking and doing:One always blames the circumstances for that what one has become or what is happening. Those who are successful in the world strive to find supportive conditions for their doings, and if they are unable to find them, they create their own circumstances for success.
