ABOUT THOLAKOPPULA SHIRISHA

As a passionate Biochemist with an MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Central University of Kerala and a BSc in Life Sciences from Osmania University. With a keen interest in Molecular Virology and Immunology, my academic journey has been shaped by my research focus on polyphenol stilbenes in natural grape peel extract for antiviral potential, specifically against the Dengue virus. In addition to my research, I have gained hands-on experience through various internships, including Oncology, Hematology & Clinical Biochemistry and Molecular Virology contributing significantly to my understanding of biomedical applications. Also had a solid foundation in mammalian cell culture techniques, molecular biology, and microbiology along with extensive exposure to laboratory practices. Apart from academics, I held the position of Nss volunteer and also served as the Joint Secretary of the Ambedkar Student Association at Central University of Kerala, where I honed my leadership, organizational, and team collaboration skills. I was actively involved in the National Service Scheme (NSS), representing the college at multiple events at the Mega job fair. Played a major role as a student organizer for conferences, I have been part of events like the National Conference on Drugs and Biologics. With a diverse skill set in biochemistry, molecular biology, and virology, I\'m fueled by a continuous passion for learning and innovation. I\'m eager to connect with professionals in these fields for knowledge exchange and collaboration, fostering advancements in research and development. Through these interactions, I aim to stay updated on the latest developments and contribute to groundbreaking discoveries.
