ABOUT BRIAN QUINTERO

Brian Quintero is a Canadian-Hispanic Filmmaker and Actor born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Over the past decade, Brian has done numerous independent features and short films, television, theatre, and commercial work. Brian has appeared on the award-winning television series Designated Survivor (ABC) and hit television show Beauty and the Beast (CW). Additionally, Brian was fortunate to be cast in award-winning independent feature films Scratch (Dragonborn Films) & Lifechanger (Raven Banner/Netflix), which both have received nominations for Best Ensemble. Brian is a graduate of the Acting for Camera & Voice program at Seneca College. With his background in the performing arts, Brian furthers his education by learning the fundamentals of film production. Brian decided to produce his first-ever project Narcissistic (2018). This short film participated in many film festivals and received awards and nominations, including Best Actor in a Drama (Actors Awards, Los Angeles) and Best Narrative Short Film (Barcelona Planet Film Festival). Brian continues to thrive in his acting career with his agency partner at Premier Artists Management, regarded as one of the most respected agencies based in Toronto, Canada. Brian founded his film production company Dead Mariachi Films, an independent production company that creates and collaborates with new, emerging filmmakers; while striving for more competitive, high-quality content. Brian is currently in post-production for the upcoming feature film Crime Drama, We Came To Wreck Everything, and Sci-Fi short film The Fore-men, alongside two, completed music videos. Meanwhile, titles such as Mr. Entertainer and The Rehearsal are currently in development stages. Some of his strengths rely heavily on his communication, delegating tasks to his core crew and creative partners on a project-to-project basis, problem-solving creatively, and preparation throughout all pre-production, production, and post-production phases. Additionally, Brian partakes in screenwriting and continues to write for himself and his collaborators, as he believes this is a big part of his creative process and involvement. Brian has now found a new passion in directing as a creative and strives to perfect his craft every day. Some of his completed directing titles include; Walk Away and Days Gone Bye and his upcoming short film Old-timers. Brian\'s goal is to represent many diverse communities and bring forth more on-screen representation into his work. Brian, as a new generation voice, hopes to contribute his stories to our new cinematic culture.
