I’m currently part of the Shop Pay Commerce Components team, focused on enabling the Shop Pay checkout app for non-Shopify stores. Our goal is to offer an optimized and secure checkout experience for all web stores. Led the initiative to refactor our checkout app, eliminating duplicated code and reusing existing components within the original Shop Pay app. Collaborated closely with managers, Staff, and Principal engineers across the checkout team at Shopify to ensure seamless execution and alignment with the team’s technical vision.

I am a highly accomplished and innovative Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience, known for delivering complex projects that drive business growth. Improving the performance of many frontend applications throughout my career including reducing the page load time of the checkout page at Thinkific by 60%. Delivering several projects using Stripe payment system, including integration of Apple/Google Pay payment methods at Thinkific, and integrating the whole billing flow with Stripe at BrowseAI. Developing the first-ever browser-based Turn-By-Turn Navigation engine using MapboxGL at Balad Maps & Navigation which required a deep understanding of algorithms and data structures. Leading migration of a large E-Commerce platform at Bamilo to use modern Frontend technologies and scale the system to handle Black Friday’s high traffic. Mentoring several Engineers throughout my career to teach them modern frontend development and help them learn and grow.
