Born in Atlanta and raised in Chicago, I like to believe I got the best of both worlds. I was raised to value community building and speaking out for those who have been overlooked. This led to my exploration of political science at my beloved alma mater Spelman College.It was at Spelman that I fell in love with media and marketing. As my favorite writer and literary genius James Baldwin once said, “Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced”. That is how I live my life.
