With over 18 years of industry experience, I am a passionate and dedicated lighting designer specializing in creating innovative and impactful lighting solutions across a diverse range of projects. My journey began as an Architect and Urban Designer, and for the past 15 years, I have focused exclusively on lighting design, blending my architectural expertise with a deep understanding of light to transform spaces. As the founder and lead designer of URI Design Studio, I have spent the last 7 years building a practice that delivers exceptional lighting design for a wide variety of projects—from urban lighting and retail spaces to residential homes and hospitality venues. My work is driven by a commitment to enhancing the user experience, solving complex design challenges, and creating environments that inspire. My strength lies in my ability to collaborate effectively within teams and approach every project with a problem-solving mindset. I thrive on finding creative solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability, ensuring that each design is both beautiful and purposeful. Currently, I am challenging the boundaries of lighting design and expanding my learning through my work, constantly exploring new technologies, materials, and methodologies to push the limits of what light can achieve. I am passionate about how light can shape our experiences of space and am committed to staying at the forefront of innovation in the field. Outside of work, I enjoy photography, exploring new materials in architecture, traveling to experience diverse cultures and design styles, and indulging in my love for food as a way to connect with people and places.
