ABOUT THINKWELL JAMERA

I have clinical experience across general/acute medicine, psychiatry, surgery and public health, having worked in numerous NHS hospital trusts across the UK. By the grace of God, I have also been privileged to receive clinical job offers from world-leading centres of excellence in research, teaching and specialist services, including Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London.My NHS experience spans specialties such as respiratory medicine, diabetes & endocrinology, cardiology, gastroenterology, orthogeriatrics, elderly medicine, trauma & orthopaedics, spinal and neuro-surgery. In psychiatry, I\'ve worked across general adult, old age, liaison, learning disability, substance misuse and ADHD services. Passionate about mental health advocacy and suicide prevention, I deliver trauma-informed, patient-centred, holistic care while coordinating MDTs focused on safeguarding, family engagement and risk management.Beyond clinical practice, I\'m engaged in medical education, research, and quality improvement. I’ve presented at various international conferences and co-authored peer-reviewed publications in psychiatry, medicine, public health and surgery. My work includes doing clinical audits, service evaluations, SOAD requests, tribunal reports, patient reviews in managers’ meetings, management of complex cases involving both physical and mental health etc. I also have a Clinical Sciences BSc(Hons).In parallel, amongst other roles, I serve as an executive member of the African Union Diaspora Youth Initiative (created by the African Union Permanent Missions to the European Union & observer to the OACP), and received an award from the African Union for our contributions to Agenda 2063. For years, I\'ve led and supported various youth-focused programmes in advocacy, policy, and diaspora engagement. Also worked across African-European cooperation, SDGs\' implementation, and inclusive development. Was privileged to represent AUDYI at the EU Global Gateway High-Level Youth Event in Brussels, contributing to the EU Youth Action Plan alongside senior stakeholders from the UN, EU, Africa, Asia & The Americas.I\'m also a public speaker, educator and global health champion passionate about advancing medicine, surgery, psychiatry, mental health, maternal health, education and equity. I\'m committed to bridging advocacy and development efforts to foster sustainable, inclusive, and people-centred systemic transformations in diverse sectors, ensuring no one is left behind and that humanity benefits to the fullest.
