I enjoy combining the deep understanding of the industry’s needs – over 16y work experience in railway sector - with the drive to change, innovate and develop new business models and segments. Most recently, I headed digitalisation and connected products at a leading multinational system supplier to rolling-stock OEMs and represented my employer in “DAC for Europe” EU project and different work groups of the German Railway Association “VDB”. Keen to support identifying the best products and services, partner companies or acquisitions and brains on the journey to ever more digital business models, without neglecting the strength of existing core businesses. Strong customer focus: benefitting from a well-established network through vast number of site visits, as representative at conventions and exhibitions around the globe. I am an engineer who started in a consultancy (automotive & aerospace) and gained his project management and sales background in multinational railway projects. Including the support of M&A activities and establishement of a joint-venture. Working from Germany on a management role for the Swedish headquarter, relaying on my communication and informal leadership skills is crucial to drive the change.
