ABOUT THIERRY G.

Through my work at PwC, I build trust in society and solve important problems. As a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and an external financial auditor, I provide many clients and users of financial statements with comfort over the reliability of the information presented on financial statements. This work is performed by continuously improving my technical skills as a CPA, using experience gained by working with many clients over the years, and building effective teams and client relationships. My job gives me the opportunity to understand how each client’s business works, and help them identify and resolve accounting and business issues. I have worked with two “big four” accounting firms, in France and in Canada, and have had exposure to dozens of businesses, from NPOs (ASNPO) to private (ASPE), and public companies (IFRS) from multiple industries. Project management skills, hard work, and trust are the main assets that contribute to my success through all these engagements. I am a data-driven decision-maker with a passion for understanding and resolving business challenges through data and accounting analysis. Curious and result-driven, I am always keen to take on new challenges. I am a dual citizen of France and Canada and I have lived in France, Canada, the US (6 years), and China (1 year). These experiences have given me the ability to quickly adapt to new environments, build meaningful relationships with people of diverse backgrounds, develop my critical thinking skills, and learn to solve complex problems by thinking outside the box. When I am not working, I love to spend quality time with my family. In my spare time, I like to work on home renovation projects, take aerial shots around the beautiful Nova Scotia coast with my drone, or learn about new developments in cryptocurrencies.
