I am a senior associate in the firm\'s market leading pensions department. As part of this I advise trustees, employers and insurers on all aspects of pensions law, including day to day governance queries, benefit design, litigation, buy-ins and buy-outs, corporate transactions and scheme mergers.\\\\n\\\\nMy recent experience includes:\\\\n- Advising on a three-way multi-billion pound scheme merger.\\\\n- Advising both trustees and insurance companies on buy-ins and buy-outs ranging in size from £50m to greater than £1bn.\\\\n- Member disputes and litigation from IDRPs and Pensions Ombudsman disputes to Part 7 and Part 8 claims in the High Court and Court of Appeal.\\\\n- Advising DC and mastertrust pension providers.\\\\n- Advising in relation to scheme funding issues, such as guarantees and valuations.\\\\n- Advising on complex benefits queries for merged schemes, including an equalisation review for a scheme with over 20 historic DB benefit categories.\\\\n- Advising on the establishment and operation of healthcare trusts and standalone life assurance schemes.\\\\n\\\\nI am also a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers\' Investment and Defined Contribution Committee.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
