ABOUT THIBAUD JOUBERT

I am a French-Canadian food enthusiast who loves cooking (and eating!) with my three children. Originally from Paris, I eventually settled in Montreal after spending over a decade in the bustling city of New York.As an intra/entrepreneur at heart, my professional journey has been unconventional. For nearly 30 years, I have dedicated myself to the transition towards sustainable food systems, with a focus on human health and environmental issues. My contributions span over 15 years at Bel Brands (known for products like La Vache qui rit, Babybel, Boursin, Materne) in North America, and more recently as a co-founder of Toucan Solutions, a software B-Corp dedicated to the circular economy. I have also played active roles in launching disruptive innovations across major food categories, including dairy products, coffee, beverages, cereals, etc.For the past two years, I have been serving as a lead coach for several Canadian incubators based out of Quebec to help accelerate the pace of transformation.My extensive experience covers the food chain at large, from processing and production to distribution and even education, in both Americas (North and South) and Europe, across various distribution channels (specialty, retail, wholesale, professional, foodservice, or e-commerce).My core expertise lies in marketing (branding, marketing, sales), general management, strategy, and aspects of Impact, Sustainable Development, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles.I have lived through the rigors of entrepreneurship and intimately understand the demanding daily life of those who dream big!
